SELAYANG - AOM Food Industries (AOM Food), syarikat pengeluar coklat berjenama Grandeur, menyasarkan pertumbuhan perniagaan sebanyak 50 peratus sekiranya berjaya menembusi pasaran pasar raya besar menjelang awal tahun 2010. Pemilik dan Pengarahnya, Aimilia Omar menyatakan, meskipun masih di peringkat perbincangan, Grandeur yang pada masa ini hanya boleh didapati melalui pembelian melalui Internet atau secara terus dalam pameran dan karnival, beliau yakin matlamat tersebut dapat dicapai.
"Sebenarnya, 90 peratus perniagaan AOM dilakukan secara online dengan menggunakan Internet kerana kuasa capaian pelanggan yang luas dengan sistem pemantauan pesanan yang teratur dan mudah. Namun dengan sambutan menggalakkan daripada pelanggan kami di seluruh negara sejak diperkenalkan tahun lalu telah mendorong kami berniaga di pasaran sebenar," kata beliau yang ditemui pemberita di pusat pembuatan coklat tersebut di Selayang Utama baru-baru ini.
Selain Grandeur, AOM Food yang diusahakan bersama suami, Tengku Muazam Kamal Tengku Mahmood sejak tahun 2007 itu juga menjalankan perniagaan bakeri melalui Internet yang dikenali sebagai Marvelcakes. Merupakan sebuah syarikat perusahaan coklat di bawah bimbingan Lembaga Koko Malaysia, Aimilia menjelaskan rangkaian produk yang dikeluarkan oleh AOM Food terdiri daripada pelbagai rasa dan diperbuat daripada ramuan berkualiti tertinggi termasuk penggunaan koko tempatan.
